Back in the Saddle Again!

I am back!

I am sorry to all my 50-Word Story participates for not getting the September and October stories up on the blog.

As to what happened, it was a number of things. I have several writing projects that require my attention, I have a very energetic poodle puppy, and than my computer died.  The writing life is always a struggle and always a balancing act. Sometimes things topple over.

So, following my own advice, what I learned is I need to scale back my editorial calendar in the fall. Although I did meet the goals I set for my blog in June, it went to hell in a hand basket after that. My editorial calendar needs to be lighter over all and I need a little play in it. Often there were interesting topics I wanted to write about and felt I could not because I had to work on this or that.

Thanks to the wonderful people at Apple Customer Service, I was able to retrieve all of my work off my old computer. I’m currently working on my laptop. I wonder if I could do a Go-Fund-Me for a new computer? I miss the screen realestate of my 24″ iMac.

Me and my poodle Charming have started agility training and it is a lot of fun. A lot of work, but a lot of fun.

I’ve decided to share more of my short stories on this blog. Maybe I’ll take another blogging class. They are a lot of fun.
